Solid and stylish kitchen tools, good starter kit
This kitchen set surprised me with how heavy and sturdy most of the pieces feel. You can tell right away these aren’t your typical lightweight gadgets. The metal construction is solid and the matte finish gives them a clean modern look that actually makes them nice to leave out on the counter. I’ve used the garlic press and wine opener the most and both work really well without needing much effort. The handles are comfortable and easy to grip even with wet hands. The pizza cutter works fine but could be a little sturdier since it feels a bit less solid compared to the rest of the set. Still I like that everything is dishwasher safe and completely plastic-free free so it feels more eco-friendly. While this set costs more than basic options the quality and clean design make it a good upgrade. I would recommend if you want reliable tools that look good, get the job done and are a decent value.

Solid Tools, Seamless Kitchen Confidence
When I first picked up the Public Goods Kitchen Tool Set, I immediately noticed the quality of its die-cast metal construction—each piece feels sturdy, balanced, and built to last. The matte finish gives it a clean, minimalist look that blends effortlessly into my kitchen, while the ergonomic design makes even repetitive tasks comfortable. Functionality is where this set shines: the Y-peeler glides through vegetables, the garlic press handles cloves with ease, and the wine opener feels reliable without fuss. I appreciate that it’s completely plastic-free and dishwasher safe, which adds both eco-friendly value and convenience to daily use. At roughly $48 on sale, the set delivers strong value when you break down the per-tool cost, especially compared to flimsier alternatives. Installation—or rather, integration—into my kitchen was effortless; these tools fit neatly into my drawer and immediately became my go-to essentials. The perfect weight and grip for each tool included.

Beautiful and high-quality
Each piece in this set is sturdy and has a lot of weight. Each one feels good and not flimsy and it’s very easy to use.-Wine opener: easy to screw in and smooth to pull out. Feels like a high-quality opener-Garlic press: didn’t shift much when pressing, but still a pain to clean off all the ridges.-Pizza cutter: super sharp. An improvement here is I wish they had a cap or similar for this. It’s hard to store and easy to scrap your hand if not careful.Overall, design is simplistic, but looks and feels great.

Decent, not great
All of these tools are just. . . ok. Generally functional, but lightweight metal and uninspired designs. For about $10ea it doesn’t make sense to expect too much, but equivalent or slightly better versions of these items can be found on Amazon for the same $10 or a bit less. The pizza cutter is particularly flimsy, my only complaint about the other items especially the peelers is they aren’t particularly ergonomic despite the nicely curved shapes.

Nice design, good starter set.
If you’re someone who likes to cook, is stocking your first kitchen, or just loves the aesthetic I’d definitely recommend this set. It’s a good value for all the pieces you get and the quality of the build is excellent, with no plastic or rubber components minus the grip on the wine opener.I didn’t love the function compared to some of my other tools. The garlic press is finicky, with chunks popping out the sides and not getting properly smashed, which is never an issue with my other garlic press. It is easier to clean, however. The peeler handles are a little short and slender which makes the whole endeavor a little more difficult.Obviously, I’m getting into the weeds here – as I initially stated, it’s a good set. I just don’t reach for some pieces as much as others, and I prefer my oldies-but-goodies to their shiner, newer drawer mates.

Public goods is amazing Surprisingly Sharp, Easy to Clean, and Actually Useful Pieces Only
Every piece in this set feels solid without that hollow plastic feel. The Y-peeler glides smoothly through potatoes, and the pizza cutter is sharp enough to get a clean cut without sawing. The garlic press is the standout — it pushes through cloves easily and rinses clean with no leftover bits stuck in the hinge. The metal finish gives the whole set a more elevated look in the drawer, and everything survived the dishwasher with zero water spots. A great all-in-one starter for a rental kitchen or dorm.

Great for apartment living
We needed a good set of kitchen utensils for our camper and thwse work perfectly. The smaller size of these helps the fit in small spaces like our camper or in apartments . These clean well and have been an asset to have on our trips
