This is definitely a great can opener for seniors with arthritis. Just lay the can opener flat on top of the outer edge of a can, and it does the rest. When the can is opened, be careful not to lift the can opener while it is still operating. It does require precaution. ‘After the can is opened, the top rim of the can will be very sharp.. The can opener would work great on extra-large cans. I find it very helpful. Requires one touch to activate, but another to turn the can opener off.Purchased 04/25 and was skeptical at first. But I love it now.

Good can opener
It works ok opening cans of various sizes as advertised. The only reason I didnโt give it a 5 star rating is because you have to press the button a second time to stop it, which I find annoying. I prefer the Hystrada electric can opener which was unavailable when I bought this one, but I was able to buy it again. It stops automatically and is much easier to use.

This worked great for 6 mos. Then all of a sudden it wouldnโt work at all even with new batteries in it. Not Worth it for the price.I am writing another great review on this item & the company that sells it! The seller contacted me & apologized & told me they would send me free of charge another electric can opener with a life time guarantee! He was so kind & I appreciate a company like this standing behind their products & being so generous. I will buy from them again!

Easy opening battery operated can opener!
Shipped on time, great little can opener. Easy to use and safe cutting around the edge so no sharp lid! Would recommend to any one who has trouble with manual openers!

Can opener
I writing this review after having this can opener for six months it has stop working. This is the third one I brought and I really donโt think they are worth the money.

Much easier than a typical counter electric can opener and fits in a drawer.
I’m only hesitant to give a higher review because I’ve only used it twice. I had a “Kitchen Mama” which I loved, but the batteries died in the middle of opening a can and guess what? It wouldn’t release at all. I tried forwards/backwards after putting in new batteries but it just could not release it’s “grip”. And I do have pretty bad wrist problems so I had to use the good old hand opener which was definitely painful. This was less exspensive the the first one, and to date it’s been perfect. For anyone with arthritis or in my case both should and wrist issues, it’s worth a try. Cleaning isn’t an issue on any of these. Just rinse the outside mechanism quickly.
