Solid, Heavy, and Does the Job Right
This is my first mortar and pestle, and it’s been great. It’s nice and heavy, feels very solid, and works exactly how it should. Just make sure you prep it before using (quick seasoning process) and then it’s golden. Simple, sturdy, and gets the job done.

I think this will make a great set. The mortar is solid and the anti slip pad will protect the counter surface. One problem though. THIS DID NOT COME WITH THE PESTLE!! So I will not be able to provide you with a full evaluation of this product until I can figure out how to get my missing item.

Heavy granite, looks cute. Love the size.100% granite. The depth is just right for like a dip size. Gorilla has got an excellent reputation for their products and this is why I choose this one. Handle is perfect in the hand to crush.
