Epicurean’s paper composite material is a natural material. Color, primarily our natural color, will develop a deep patina over time, behaving similar to wood or a wood floor. Patina does not affect the performance or integrity of the product/material and Epicurean does not guarantee color fastness for the life of the product.

Epicurean has the best quality of cutting boards. This is a great easy size to use. It can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher or hand washed. My knives stay sharp using it. I needed it quickly for holiday prep and the delivery was right on time.

Great non-toxic board that will save your knives
I have been looking for a cutting board that will save my knifes as well as rid myself of microplastic risks. This board is the best. And because of its rubber feet it will NOT slip. I guarantee! It’s dishwasher safe. It comes in 3 colors. And this one has a fluid channel. I use it for vegetables and meats. It is dishwasher safe. It isn’t huge and thick so it is easy to handle and store. It is reversible.The only thing… after I first received it I of course washed it. And it had a smell. An unpleasant smell that went away when dry. I contacted the company and they related that this seems to happen with this color of board. So I dish washed it twice, and the smell is gone. The company assures me the board is non-toxic, and mentioned it seems more prevalent with this color. That being said, I’l still give it 5-stars.Last thing, the company recommends using one of their products to keep it from drying out. I haven’t purchased it. So far I don’t see a need.

Best cutting board I ever owned. Feels good to have one made of non harmful materials, looks great, and doesn’t smell like other reviews say. It does bend if you leave it to try, but this is easily handled by flipping it next time when drying. Still very good after a year of use!

After talking to ChatGPT for multiple days, trying to find a good alternative without the micro plastics and also didn’t want a wood board I had to oil, etc. this is what came in for suggestion that was cost of friendly also so far I really like the boards just smell a little funny when you get them wet.

So glad I purchased nearly a year later
I initially balked at the price but I really want a dishwasher safe cutting board that wasn’t plastic and this had such high reviews. Now I know it was completely worth the price and I should have gotten it sooner. Lightweight, well designed, functional and fits in my dishwasher. It’s held up perfectly and has no signs of wear despite heavy use and washing. I just came back on to buy a few smaller sizes to replace my bamboo boards (which ultimately fall apart despite hand washing).
