handy sharpener that made my kitchen knives much easier to use
This electric knife sharpener arrived on a weekend morning while I was getting ready to cook, so I tried it right away. The size is comfortable to hold and doesnโt feel heavy. I started with one of my older kitchen knives that had been dragging through vegetables for a while. I turned the sharpener to the lowest speed first just to get a feel for it. The knife glided through the slot smoothly and the sound was steady, not harsh. After a few passes I wiped the blade and tested it on a tomato. It sliced cleanly without me pressing down. Later in the day I used the medium and high speeds on a couple of thicker knives. The higher speed made the work go faster, but I liked having all three options depending on what I was sharpening. The sharpener didnโt vibrate in my hand, and it stayed comfortable even after a longer session. The cordless design made it easy to move around the counter without worrying about the cord getting in the way. When I finished, I plugged it in next to my coffee maker and it charged up neatly for the next round.Cleaning the sharpener has been simple since the small metal shavings collect in one spot and wipe out easily. One small thing is that the indicator light is a bit dim in bright daylight, but itโs still clear enough indoors. After using it for several days, my knives feel smoother and are much easier to cook with. Itโs become one of those tools I reach for without thinking because it fits naturally into my kitchen routine and keeps everything working the way it should.

After using this electric knife sharpener a few times, I’ve truly felt it has changed my daily kitchen routine. Before, I was too lazy to even sharpen my knives; I’d either take them to someone else or just make do. But with this, I find sharpening knives much easier than I imagined.It’s a handheld design, very comfortable to hold, not slippery, and doesn’t cause fatigue. The buttons only have a few speed settings, making it very easy to use. I figured it out without even reading the instructions. Before, the skin would get stuck when cutting tomatoes, but after sharpening, the knife glides smoothly through them.I also really like that it’s cordless; one charge lasts for several uses, and there’s no cord tangling that affects the angle. If I realize my knife is dull while cooking, I can just sharpen it for a few seconds and it’s done, no more hassle. It’s also small; I can just stuff it in a drawer, it doesn’t take up any space.So far, it’s been incredibly easy to use, the results are visible, and it’s easy to store, I really have nothing to complain about. For this price, I’d give it five stars.

I charged this sharpener up, grabbed the knife, and stood by the counter to try it out. It feels more like a handheld tool than a big appliance. Comfortable to hold. I started on the lowest speed, slow passes, nothing rushed. The sound is there but not harsh. After a few passes, I could already feel the edge changing when I ran my thumb lightly across it. Switched to the middle speed next. That step made a bigger difference than I expected.I wasnโt locked into one setting. I could slow down when I wanted to, speed up when the blade needed more work. By the time I finished, the knife was enough to convince me to keep going. I ended up sharpening two more before I stopped. The cordless part matters more than I thought. No outlet hunting. The battery held up fine. I didnโt even check the charge level until the next day.

It is small, but it has some weight, I like it’s design, it is easy to storage in the drawer without taking too much space. The slots hold a normal kitchen knife safely, and my fingers stay away from the blade, which makes me feel better when the kids are walking around the island. I like that it is cordless and rechargeable, so I donโt need to plug it in every time; I just charge it on the counter and then put it back in the drawer. The three speeds are easy to change with one button. After a few passes, my everyday knives do cut tomatoes and carrots more easily. It is not noisy witeh use, for regular home knives it works well for the sharpness.
