Excellent for my use
These are small, about the size of a nickel. Not a toy, careful around kids. I used on a metal door to hold fabric over glass panel. Works great. Use hooks to put in place then unscrew hooks and place flat by magnet to help get them off. My use has very little weight. I don’t know about the 30 pound claim….these are real magnets, not toys. Don’t leave them around memory chips or a pacemaker. Excellent for my use – remember, very small and I am working with ounces of fabric, not pounds of objects.

Great for cabin on cruise . Hooks were pretty sturdy. Great for jackets? Pants, purses, robes, even shoes . Freed up some room in a small cabin.We hung a plastic shoe pocket on the wall ( the kind ppl put on doors) it was perfect for all toiletries, brushes, lotions,deodorant , combs etcSaved SO much space.

Small but Surprisingly Strong
These magnet hooks are great quality. The magnet is very strong and holds securely on my fridge without sliding down. I use them to organize cords, and they work perfectly for that. The metal feels sturdy and durable — not flimsy or like it would bend easily. They are small but hold several cords at a time. If you’re looking for strong, reliable magnet hooks for your fridge or other metal surfaces, these definitely get the job done.

They was working for me.
They’re not the best magnets, but they helped with my project. They’re very delicate and can fall off easily. I know my project wasn’t easy and had its challenges, but in the end, they worked well, and the Christmas lights haven’t fallen, even in strong winds. They’ve held up perfectly so far. They only gave me trouble at the beginning, but with practice and patience, these magnets worked very well and hold in the end.

Love these little magnets! I’ve not used on a cruise; but have used throughout the house (both inside and outside). Easy to use on anything metal (even catches on a small screw or nail) – the larger the metal surface, the more weight the magnet can handle. The hook and the magnet screw together easily. Ready to use in seconds.

Perfect for a metal gazebo
Backstory: I just put up a metal Allen+Roth gazebo and my wife had some solar string lights that we wanted to put up. I didn’t want to drill holes in it and have always had bad experiences with adhesive solutions to hold pc wires under my desk so I didn’t want to have that happen on a bigger scale. Magnets seemed like the perfect solution and the black color on these along with rated strength sounded perfect.Performance -These things are strong, you wouldn’t think that string lights would be too heavy but these had some pretty thick cables and I needed something that could hold up the bulbs without making me worry. So far these are doing the job exceedingly well.Stability -Due to the nature of magnets (not so much the products fault) they will slide around if mounted horizontally much easier than if mounted vertically. I found this out the hard way as it slid on me a few times. I readjusted them to hand more vertically and they have been solid since. They still well enough to aluminum that I’d have to give a decent pull for them to come off.Hooks -The hooks are blunt and while they looked smaller than I anticipated, they ended up being a perfect size for my needs. I think the worst part of the process was getting them all twisted in because I got 40 of them (10 for each side of the gazebo to be extra sure) but I didn’t have any issues with the threading as others have mentioned. I did find it difficult in some cases to twist it as the coating can make it a bit slippery. Using gloves or your shirt for additional grip is enough to fix that.Ease of removal -With a little over natural degree of force you should be able to pull them off of an aluminum surface. It sticks hard but it should be strong enough to be impossible by any means. Sliding it sideways might make it easier too.Overall -I’ve only had it for one day but I’m confident that under normal conditions I won’t need to bother checking up on them. If I don’t update with a complaint later after a storm or something more severe then assume that everything went fine. I tend to leave enough reviews that I’d remember to come back if there’s a problem. So far I highly recommend these and commend this company for making a great product at a reasonable price, that’s pretty rare these days.

Strong, but maybe not super strong magnets
great hook to have on a cruise with you. Bought these because I found out the walls in the stateroom were magnetic and man oh man was this handy. Had these hooks all over the place holding stuff for us since the staterooms are smaller and have very minimal countertop space. It says it’ll hold 30lbs, but I don’t think that is true. My purse weighed at most 4 lbs (didn’t have a scale with me on vacay) and when the magnet was on the wall, it slid down with the purse on it. When I hung it from the ceiling, it still felt like it was going to fall and I didn’t want to wake up in the middle of the night to a startle so I never tried again so maybe it would have held, but again, wasn’t gonna risk it over my sleep. The color is a nice bright blue so it’s easy to find on the beige walls and we grabbed them all before disembarking.
