Very sturdy build and comfortable handle, but blade collision causes wear & unsmooth cutting action
One of my favorite cooking tools is kitchen shears and for years, I’ve only had just one. I figured I could benefit from a second one and maybe try an upgrade while I’m at it. I saw this REAYEAXN model and it looked promising with a really beefy handle and even a nifty magnetic sheathe for storage. Receiving the item, the handle was indeed impressively large and comfortable with rubbery grip, and the overall build quality is sturdy as expected. However some quirk of its engineering causes the blades to collide such that the indentation on the right side gets caught on the left side, causing wear to the blade and for the cutting motion to get stuck. I’ve tried to adjust the angle with my hands upon cutting to avoid that, but it didn’t help much. Because of the repeated wear, the problem reduced over time but of course that was at the cost of wearing down both sides of the scissors and possibly shedding metal in the process; I may have to use these shears on non-food items for awhile to see if I can eventually eliminate the collision to the point where the cutting action is smooth – but I shouldn’t have to do this. The magnetic holster is nice but the magnet isn’t really strong enough keep it in place for my environment so I might not end up using it.At $24 these are expensive for what they are, especially if the extra holster/sheathe piece won’t be used much. The high quality and sturdy handle do help justify the price. If they end up being used for years daily, its probably a decent investment but there may be cheaper and better engineered models if you look around. I like the solid construction and comfort of these shears but wish the blade collision wasn’t such an issue. Hopefully once it is more worn in, the problem will diminish and I can use these shears as much as my beloved old main one.

Definitely great quality, heavy duty, and well designed.
Loved these scissors and the concept. Scissors are heavy duty and very well-designed for multi-purpose items. I normally keep kitchen scissors in my drawers because I always need him for anything but now I really got an upgrade.. I also love that it comes with the magnetic pocket so you can just hang them anywhere.Overall I am very pleased and satisfied with this product.I just wished I knew what was written in the small circle on them. Its written in Chinese I believe
