Great thermometer that reads the temperature quickly and effectively. Love that it is smaller and compact. Super easy to start it up and use it. Auto shutoff is a plus! No issues for me on reliability.

It should be dead thrice over. How is it still alive?
This thing refuses to die. It’s been dropped, drowned, roasted, burnt, still going on the same battery it came with. Way better than the little dial ones. It has celcius and farenheit. Given it resets to celcius every timeif you’ve abused it enough. I kept thinking “wow this is it. I guess I need a new one” just for it to somehow heal it’s LCD or spit out the water and boot back up anyway. This thing should be dead but I’m so glad it isn’t. I can’t go back to the old dial one. My standards are too high now.

Accurate and quick read, good purchase
This thermometer works great. I was looking for one to help me with making caramels and candies and getting an accurate read. The reading was accurate and quick. I had no problems cleaning it afterward. Great value for what I am using it for.

Easy to use, seems accurate.
I used this for checking the temperature of bread. It works well, I can see the temperature fine, although it does seem a little slow, but I don’t have anything to compare it to. Easy to use, stick it in and wait. Bread comes out perfect so I’d say it’s accurate. My only complaint is the holes it leaves in my bread lol

Works great for sourdough loaves.
I use this for my sourdough loaves. It works perfectly for a piercing the side of the loaf into the center of the loaf to check the temperature for doneness without collapsing.Easy to use and I like that it has a thing to hang it on a hook.

I use this food thermometer all the tme. It is hanging on the wall by my stove. It is very durable. I temp everything from meat and casseroles to homemade bread.

Lightweight and Fast Heating, But Slow Readings
I love how lightweight the ThermoPro TP02S thermometer is, and the included case is a nice touch for storage and protection. It heats up very quickly—I noticed this when checking my steak on the pan. However, it does take a bit of time to give an accurate temperature reading, which can be a little inconvenient. Overall, it’s a handy tool for cooking, but be patient with the readings.

Due to hygiene concerns, I used to overcooked my meat dishes especially Chicken because of fear of Salmonella poisoning concerns. But in that process, the chicken used to get dry and chewy. Now I use this thermometer and stop cooking exactly when the temperature is around 74° Celsius. Ensures juicy chicken everytime. Works great for maintaining oil temperature as well for deep frying
