Love this mandolin slicer. I like that the “knob holder” keeps your fingers up and away from the blade as you slide/slice. Adjustable thicknesses..easy to change size and slices beautifully. Good quality and easy to wash. Way easier than trying to evenly hand slice! Good value!

Good Value — saves time and creates slices of uniform size
Outstanding product, performs as advertised. Be aware: 1. the blade is VERY sharp (I nicked my finger) so use the included accessory to hold the veggies when they get small, and 2. even at the thickest setting, the slices are VERY thin.

Good mandoline, bad finger guard
Very sharp, not as large as expected, easy to hold and maneuver. However, I’m very surprised and disappointed that OXO provided a useless and inferior vegetable holder/finger protector with this mandoline. The guard provided does not grip vegetables adequately and is therefore a hazard. I threw the guard away and purchased this one made by Rosle instead https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004PC1BYI?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. It’s far superior and safer.

Great slicer, lock position for storage.
Love locked position option. Also, gripper/holder slides on so you don’t have to worry about misplacing it – stays together with slicer when storing.Slicer thickness options are good.Easy to wash.Slices so easily.No assembly, no need to change blades.

I love this easy to use little slicer. It is exactly what I needed. I did not want a big fancy Gondola that can be dangerous. I wanted something light and easy to handle and change the few settings I want. This is PERFECT for me. One thing I am using it for is to vut very thin potato slices (other veggies too) to make my own chips. Whether I’m quickly adding vegetables to salads or soups or attempting my own baked chips, I find this is easy out, easy to use and easy to put away again. It is a little gem. I wasn’t sure which one to buy and the comments were helpful in making my choice. Not expensive and easy to use. I’m VERY happy with my purchase.

Tiny and limited
This slicer is a slicer only, and tiny. I should have researched more before I bought it, as there are more versatile products for lower cost. It’s very small and can’t be used for large items. The slices range from transparent to thick enough for a sandwich. I can use it for onions for a sandwich, but not for onion rings. It did make quick work of a medium sized onion.

This mandolin has made cutting vegetables for my dehydrator such a breezePros:-the blade is very sharp and cut through the veggies fast and efficiently- the handle on the part that helps hold your veggies in place is very comfortable on your hands. It has little spikes on it so that your veggie can stay in place as you slice through it- I appreciate the visual illustration to determine the size of a cut you would like for your veggies, as opposed to a numerical value. It is easier to see exactly how thick I would like something instead of guessing what it would look like.- the thickest setting (as shown in the last photo) is just big enough.-the handle locks into place on the mandolin so you do not lose it while it is in storageHappy with this mandolin!

Great little mandolin. I’m not sure why people are so surprised they can cut themselves when they use this – it’s literally a tool for slicing vegetables quickly and easily, it should be obvious that if it cuts a vegetable it will cut your hand. That being said, it’s a really good slicer for its price. The thickness options are good and easy to change between, the thinnest is thinner than I expected given theres only 3 options, and its ridiculously easy to clean. I have one of the bigger ones with a box underneath that has all the different chopping attachments that I mostly just use as a mandolin and I wanted one to keep in my locker at work to be able to take healthier meals in as I work shifts, and if it wasnt for the fact that I want to still use the other chopping attachments I would bin that one and get another of these, as this is far superior.

Quality, blade sharpness and edge quality, the push handle to execute the final cut are all excellent. Good ergonomic design, can start your cuts from around ~2mm which is unparalleled because of which there is less wasteage/ more efficient use of ingredients. Overall a recommended purchase.
