Honestly, this Gorilla Grip can opener is pretty great. I picked it up because I was tired of struggling with cheap ones that leave those nasty, sharp edges. This thing is sturdy and the handles are super comfy—they’re soft and big, which is a lifesaver if your hands get sore easily or you have arthritis. The best part is the cut: it actually works perfectly every time, giving you a smooth edge on the can lid so you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself. My only real gripe, and it’s kind of a pain, is that you have to hand wash and completely dry it right away or it’ll rust. It’s not dishwasher safe, which is a bummer, but considering how well it works, I’d say it’s worth the extra effort.

I have an electric can opener, but guess what… in a power outage it doesn’t work! So, we decided to get a manual can opener. This one does the job! It’s easy to use, large enough to give you leverage to pierce the metal, sharp blade (at least while new), and the big knob is easy to turn. Highly recommended.
