Good Quality, Easy To Use
My mother had one of these when I was a kid, I just happened to see this and bought it. Perfect for slicing eggs for sandwiches, or dicing them for salads. It takes just a few seconds to dice and egg, and it’s super easy to clean. It’s well made, surprisingly well made out of real metal not plastic, at a good price. So far so good.

Yum! Egg salad!!
Recently received so have not used much. It appears to be well made, heavy duty. However I am use to the plastic one I had for over 30 years (the wires finally “sprung”) which was light in weight, easy to use. I’m hoping the metal one will last the rest of my lifetime. I’m especially anxious to try slicing strawberries but it did work well for egg salad sandwiches.

Best egg slicer – just like Grandma’s
If I could give this egg slicer 10 stars I would. I bought the #1 recommended egg slicer from Amazon because it was rated #1, it also sliced diagonal and was made of quality material. Well it was BUT it also took 30 minutes to clean which is not acceptable. So I went searching again and found this one. Just like Grandma used to have. It is GREAT. Slices perfectly, so easy to clean and it’s aluminum so it won’t rust. I’m so happy with it. I think it was rated #2 by Amazon but it’s so much better than the other one.

I’d hoped that being metal and sturdier than most, this would cleanly slice my eggs, separating the slices properly, but no!I’ve used far better plastic ones at a fraction of the price. The yolks stuck to the ones in front/behind making it impossible to get a proper slice that was in one piece.For the price, very disappointing!
