Broke on first use
Unfortunately, this review will be rather short. I bought this to use on fresh corn this summer. On the second swipe of corn the whole thing busted. Would not recommend.

Inefficient but does work.
It works, but it’s easier and more efficient to just use a knife. You can’t slice straight down to the counter so you have to flip it, and hot corn is hard to hold. Kind of a waste of money. but I will say it is well made.

Sturdy and good for a gift
I bought this as a gift for a friend who loves corn on the cob but can’t bit it off the cob. She was so surprised and happy with this. She said it was easy to use, easy to clean and cut the kernels right off the cob. She is quite surprised and happy with it.
