Great way to encourage my son to EAT VEGGIES! Makes the best sweet potato fries!
Who would have thought that a crinkle fry cutter would be the determining factor for my son to eat more vegetables? While the OTOTO Frizzle looks like a toy, this is a serious tool for cutting vegetables. My son started with making crinkle cut fries, which, when tossed in some olive oil with some seasoning salt and put in the air fryer made better, tastier, fresh fries. No more expensive, frozen, fries!We experimented with sweet potato – wonderful for making sweet potato “chips” (think thick, disk shaped, wedges), fancy cucumber slices, fancy carrots for cooking in a honey glaze, eggplant, zucchini, and even some funny looking onions. Salads are no longer boring, to say the least.While the box was fun, the handle even looks like a fry container! The steel cutter feels solid as it slices through vegetables. The only key I could find was to make sure that the vegetables are firm. We also tried this with apples, and it works just fine. Strawberries too. We haven’t tried it on the summer sausage yet, but, give it some time, and he will try it out. It did an “okay” job on cheddar cheese – stuck a little on the blade.For less than $15, this is a bargain, and a game changer for getting our son to eat more vegetables. I can’t wait to see what other things he comes up with as we approach the holidays. We may need to buy a second one, although, with as many potatoes as we have been through, the blade still seems sharp. A fun and useful product for us.

Super cutter.
I ordered this to make what some will remember as cottage fries and now often referred to as waffle fries. It works great. Wonderful addition to the kitchen utensil drawer. Cut quick and easy without much effort. I was the first to use it with some potatoes done Air Fryer style with a little olive oil and seasoning. They came out crisp, delicious and looked amazing. MMM. mmm!

OTOTO Frizzle Crinkle Fry Cutter – Stainless Steel
This is just fun to use. It slices potatoes into perfect wavy fries with hardly any effort. The stainless steel is thick and solid, not flimsy at all. My son loves helping me use it for cucumbers and carrots too…it turns veggies into something special. Cleans easily and fits nicely in a drawer. Definitely a kitchen gadget that earns its spot. Bonus points for the gold bottom that makes this look like a French fry, my son got a kick out of that!

Funny squiggly slicer
I think I’m going to be using this often.The only downside is that its not very long for cutting the full length of a potato. Great for slicing it the shorter way though, especially for waffle fries (just slice the next slice 90⁰ turned from the last). Great for slicing carrots, cucumbers, & other veggies with a fun squiggle that kids would love.The box had some writing inside that i was hoping was some ideas or like tips & tricks, but it was just warnings & in different languages mostly that it was not a toy I had to destroy the box just to open it, & now you wouldn’t have to. LOL!My son told me it looks like something from McDonald’s & “looks cheap” & that if someone saw it, that they would never guess “crinkle cutter.” So take it as you will.If they made a wider version, I’d get it.

This crinkle cutter is both heavy-duty and adorable! It cuts through potatoes with ease, creating perfect crinkle-cut fries every time. The handle feels sturdy and comfortable to hold, making prep work quick and easy. I also love that the blade isn’t overly sharp at the tip, so it’s safe for kids to help in the kitchen. Such a cool looking & functional kitchen gadget
I love this cool kitchen gadget. It cuts potatoes easily. I haven’t tried veggies yet, this will absolutely be perfect for cutting root veggies. Easy to clean. I hand wash & dry. Sturdy. Definitely comfortable in my hand. (I have arthritis). This would make a great addition in a kitchen/food themed gift basket.
