Difficult to use doesn’t work well with homemade bread
Things does t work very well with real bread. Maybe wonder or that other supermarket trash but sourdough uncrustables are tough to make.

Nice, but it did break, not unusable
Its really nice, does the job well. Until it snapped lol the top plate broke off the center pin which pushes down the inside crimp piece. I use a rubber oven mitt to push it down now, and plan on getting someone to sauter the pieces back together. All in all, super nice for meal prep!

Works but it is a pain
Does it work? Yes, it works for almost two years before part of the metal unscrewed and I just couldn’t get it to work properly after that.Three stars because I hated using it. It hurts my hand. I had to use an oven mitt or a metal part would come up. But it does in fact work. It pressed it together and cut it.The best bread to great value whole wheat. Or at least make sure the bread you are using is a little bit moist.

I read amazing reviews about this cutter, so I was excited when I got it. I tried first with a simple sandwhich (regular loaf bread, slice of cheese) to see how it worked. I pressed on the top part but it was very hard, and the nob on top hurt my hand. The metal part around that nob slid down easily, so I assumed it was that part that was supposed to move, not the nob. But no, the metal part just disentangled itself. No matter how hard I press down the nob, it only manages to cut a bit of the top bread, never reaches the full sanwhich. I tried with something thinner (a tortilla folded in two) with the same result.Do not buy it. It’s a waste of money.
