Needs a Sheath to Protect against Cuts From the Exposed Very Sharp Blade
Works well to peel potatoes, carrots, and butternut squash. Really needs something like a knife sheath when in storage. The very sharp blade is exposed at all times.

Worked well, but there was one issue I’ve left-handed and this is a tool made to be used by a right hand, but it didn’t work

Very nice to use on harder skinned veggies. Other reviewers reported in it a cross between a paring knife and peeler, and I agree. I’m mostly using it on squash. Takes some getting used to but works very well. It will not be easy to sharpen. I is very sturdy, may not fit smaller hands.

What an impressive kitchen toy. The wood looks to be a good quality for a good hand grip for small hands. The balance with the heavy duty blade feels comfortable and should make it easy to use. The sharpness, let’s say best keep your fingers away from it. The design lends itself to easy cleaning and no nooks for food to stick in. Overall, I would say it is a very value. I have not used it yet, but it looks and feels like it will out perform my 60 year old peeler.

Awful peeler! If you don’t dig in the vegetable hard it doesn’t work! Sooooo disappointed! Size is good looks good but a peeler from the dollar store works better!

Disappointing
I’m left handed, so it makes this device a little scary to operate. It can really do some damage to your fingers is your not careful. I went back to a traditional ,safer peeler. Otherwise, it looks and feels to be solid construction.

Firstly there is prominent cracks on the wooden handle of the peeler.Secondly the sharpene part is coarse and not smooth.The embossed mark in the steel blade is also missing.

Just plain item doesn’t justify the price,is flimsy, crudely manufactured with substandard materials and raises sufficient doubt about its performance.Also neither brand stamping is present nor are there any description if the item is made of food grade materials.
