   I purchased these MCGOR rechargeable under cabinet lights in February 2025, and after nearly a year of using them during my overlanding and dispersed camping trips, I can confidently say they’ve become an essential part of my camp setup.Unlike typical under-cabinet applications, I use these lights in various areas around my campsite – inside my tent, near my Jeep’s tailgate setup, and in darker corners where I need hands-free lighting. The motion sensor feature is a game-changer when you’re carrying gear or walking around camp after dark. The lights automatically illuminate exactly when and where you need them without fumbling for switches or flashlights.The motion sensors work flawlessly. They detect movement reliably and provide instant illumination, which is perfect for navigating around a tent or campsite in complete darkness. Battery life has been solid throughout my trips – I can go multiple nights between charges depending on usage.    easy to set up. So far so good. our fridge light went out. The lights are bright and the motion sensors have worked well. Our 20 yr old Whirlpool fridge/ freezer had a failure in the light/ control area of the refrigerator. Tech came to try to fix. the parts are no longer available to be replaced. Everything works fine except the light. Decided to try using 2 of these in the fridge for light. we are lucky we got 20 years out of the Whirlpool Gold fridge / freezer.. so we are likely living on some borrowed time before it needs replaced. These lights are working great so far. Looking for a replacement fridge/ freezer now.

   Cabinet Lights
   These are great lights!! I love how versatile they are, you can set them to come on when they sense motion, or you can manually turn them on and off. There are also multiple brightness settings. They are super easy to install, they are magnetic, which makes them easy to remove in order to charge. In addition to putting these under my cabinets, I added one to my pantry and put it on the motion sensor and it works great – now I can easily see the shelves that are little darker. I have used battery operated lights under my cabinets before and the batteries never last that long, the fact that these are rechargeable is a game changer for me. I’m so happy that I made this purchase. Now I want to put them everywhere I need extra light!

   Excellent lights, but removing the adhesive is impossible
   First off, I love these lights. I don’t have issues with them being overly sensitive to motion detection like other folks. I bought them to use in my apartment that didn’t have any lighting in the laundry area or over the kitchen sink. The lights work great, produce steady illumination, and have a long battery life. The charging cord isn’t long, but it also isn’t a unique cord and I charged them right next to an outlet anyways so that didn’t matter to me. I’d give them 5 stars if not for the issues I encountered while moving.As someone who wanted as much of my security deposit back as possible, I tried to remove these without damaging the walls. That proved impossible. I used the adhesive magnetic plates to put them up, and they never fell down. Those magnets were strong, but that adhesive was stronger. Each adhesive strip ended up removing a section of paint from my walls and from my wooden cabinet over the sink. I was able to paint over the wall spots, but the wood was nothing I could fix. My maintenance person was super understanding, fortunately.Now, I’m at my new place. I’d love to use the lights. I’d love to attach them to the walls again, though maybe with different adhesive this time. I can’t try command strips to adhere the plates to the walls, though, because I can’t get the adhesive to come off of the magnetic plates at all. I’ve tried scraping them, heating them, soaking them in various cleaners and Goo Gone for hours – nothing has worked. I’ve gotten the paint residue from my last apartment off so that adhesive is now pristine, but it’s also basically a weird gel stuck to the magnetic plate that I can’t remove. They’re sitting in a bowl in my kitchen as I type this. I have no idea what to try next. I know I can use them without the plates, but finding a way to attach them to the walls and then easily remove them again to charge them will also be a pain.Truly, at the end of it all, I wouldn’t be going through all of this if I didn’t love the lights. As an incredibly lazy person who gets easily frustrated, the effort I’m putting into this should be a testament to their quality.

   Great product. Well designed, super easy to apply and the light that it projects is extremely powerful. The motion sensor system is flawless. The rechargeable feature was well thought out. The fixture can be easily removed to plug into a nearby usb port. This was extremely well engineered to fit so many applications. Will be purchasing more for family members!!
