Blue bowls that deliver on quality and style
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don’t meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly.Why I ordered this item: I needed some larger serving bowls that could handle regular use and look decent sitting on the table. These caught my eye because of the blue color and the shape seemed different from what I already have.Likes:* The blue ombre glaze is really the star here. It’s not some flat color, it has depth to it and shifts depending on the angle you’re looking at it from. Looks way better in person than the photos suggested.* Build quality is excellent. These feel substantial in your hands, not cheap or thin. The ribbed exterior gives them texture that’s nice to touch and also helps with grip when you’re carrying them around.* The shape is a bit more interesting than your standard bowl. The scalloped edges give it character without being so weird that it doesn’t work with other dishes. They integrate seamlessly with my everyday ceramics.* Capacity is generous. Seventy ounces is a lot of room. I can load a full salad in one of these without it overflowing, which was kind of the point.* They arrived without a scratch. The packaging was smart, custom molded cardboard that really protected them. These serving bowls are a beautiful cerulean blue hue with scallops that add a lot of beautiful visual texture. Mine arrived in pristine condition thanks to the copious protection around them. These are thick and hefty and generously sized. I intend to use these when we have guests over. They will easily hold a normal sized bag of chips, a piles of rolls, a salad for 4, or a pile of fruit. While they are dishwasher safe, I am still protective of these to avoid them getting damaged I make sure they have a buffer from other ceramics in the dishwasher. It’s also reassuring that you can put these in the microwave when you need to heat something up.The glaze looks complete, without any imperfections. The bottom side has the brand label and some markings to let you know that they are dishwasher and microwave safe.When they are nested, they still take up more volume than you might expect, and because I am protective, I am using a cloth in-between the bowls when they are stored. I’m worried about pressure against any one of the scalloped edges causing chip out.Overall these have a lovely, handmade look. They are a little on the pricier side, but they are also nice ceramicware of good size.

Gigantic! Not for everyday use
These are nice bowls!! They come in a set of two. The first thing I noticed was how LARGE these are! They’re huge! Ya can’t make enough pasta to fill them! You have to use them as serving bowls and not dinner or cereal bowls. The photos do them no justice . They’re about a foot long! Actually a bit too large for practical use, but I should’ve measured in real time and saw how large these are. Not for everyday use at all.
