5 reviews for Fox Run Glass Yogurt Containers with Lids, Set of 2 Glass Bowls for Yogurt, Salads and Leftovers, 1 Quart Capacity Each

  1. Syed Nabil Neazee

I picked up this set of Fox Run glass bowls mainly for yogurt and leftovers, and they’ve quickly become some of the most-used containers in my kitchen. The size is just right—each bowl holds a full quart, which is perfect for meal prep, salads, soups, or storing homemade yogurt without feeling too bulky in the fridge. The glass quality feels solid and reassuring. These aren’t thin or flimsy at all. They have a nice weight to them and feel durable enough for daily use. I really appreciate that they’re made of clear glass, so it’s easy to see what’s inside at a glance without opening the lid. That alone makes fridge organization much easier. The lids fit snugly and securely. They seal well for everyday storage, keeping food fresh without any weird smells escaping into the fridge. I’ve used them for leftovers, chopped vegetables, and even marinated items, and everything stayed fresh and contained. The lids are also easy to remove and put back on, which is great when you’re using them multiple times a day.Another big plus is versatility. These bowls are microwave-safe, dishwasher-safe, and freezer-safe, which makes them incredibly convenient. I often move food straight from the fridge to the microwave, and the glass heats evenly without staining or retaining odors. Cleanup is effortless—everything comes out of the dishwasher looking brand new.I also like that these bowls work well beyond storage. They’re attractive enough to serve food directly at the table, whether it’s salad, fruit, or snacks. That means fewer dishes and less cleanup, which is always a win.If you’re looking for simple, durable, and multi-purpose glass containers that handle daily kitchen use with ease, this set is an excellent choice. Practical, well-made, and incredibly useful—I’m very happy with them and would definitely buy another set.

  2. What

This is a set of two glass containers with blue plastic lids. I like to use these types of containers for storing prepared meals or leftovers in the fridge or freezer. Each container can hold enough for about two meals. They’re excellent containers for doing any kind of food prep, as you can use them to portion out meals, freeze them, then reheat the food in the microwave. (I would NOT recommend taking the containers directly from the freezer and putting them into the oven however, as this may cause the glass to shatter.)The lids create a good seal over the glass bowls, which helps prevent the food from drying out or getting freezer burn. Although the lids should not be used in the oven or microwave, the glass bottoms seem to be quite durable. The containers wash easily, either by hand-washing or in the dishwasher. The containers are a good size, and are highly versatile.

I picked up this Fox Run glass yogurt container set mainly to store food and to prep overnight oats, and they’ve been working really well for both. The glass is noticeably thick and feels sturdy in hand, not flimsy like some storage bowls. Each bowl holds a full quart, which is perfect for batch cooking, leftovers, or a couple of generous portions of overnight oats rather than a single serving. The lids fit snugly and stay in place. I would not trust them upside down in a bag, but for upright storage, they seal well and keep everything contained. For overnight oats, I like that the lid stays put overnight and the glass does not absorb smells or flavours from previous meals. Cleanup is easy since the glass does not stain and goes straight into the dishwasher. Being microwave, freezer, and oven safe is also convenient, especially when reheating leftovers directly in the same bowl without transferring food. They are a good size without taking up too much fridge space, which works well for a smaller kitchen. As with any glass container, you do need to handle them with a bit of care, but overall, these are fantastic, versatile bowls that work well for food storage, meal prep, and overnight oats. Highly recommend!

I ordered the set of two 1 L glass bowls by Fox Run.The bowls came with blue plastic lids. The sides are completely vertical and not sloped at all. The bottoms are completely flat on the inside and outside. Neither the glass nor lids have any writing on them. The product appears very similar to Anchor Hocking bowls (with red lids) I own. However, the AH bowls have a slightly smaller diameter at the bottom so they have a shorter stack height when nested. Measuring the rim thickness of both brands, the Fox Run averages 4.6 mm while the AH is around 5.6 mm. That explains the Fox Run bowls weighing 484 g while the AH are 598 g.The Anchor Hocking bowls are noticeably thicker and heavier (by approximately 20% quantitatively). I would call them heavy-duty. The Fox Run bowls are on the heavy side of medium-duty in my opinion, still perfectly fine for home kitchen use. These Fox Run bowls are a good size for leftovers going into the fridge. Since they are safe for the microwave and oven (up to 500 F), they are also suitable for reheating and uncovered baking, plus serving food at the table. Versatile and durable, this is glassware I can recommend.

Very nice containers. I have run them through the dishwasher already with no deformation of the lids or chipping of the glass (though this style of thin plastic lid is probably not the most durable). It’s a good size as well, I’m not sure why they’re called yogurt containers because they’re quite large. I got them to store various meal prep items, like pre-chopped veggies to use up throughout the week, broth, and that sort of thing. I think they’re decent value since you get two of them for the price. I don’t think I would use them too much in the freezer because the lids don’t feel sturdy enough to survive that longer term, but I would still recommend these for basic fridge use!
