Great for Peeling Ginger

I always struggled to use my peeler, usually I gave up and resorted to my paring knife. I saw this peeler and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. In spite of my arthritic hands, I was able to hold this with no problem. The blade is nice and sharp and quickly and easily peals, potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and even a butternut squash. Definitely worth the purchase.

Been using this a ton. It’s fantastic. Removes very thin slices so not wasteful. And cuts both ways which is so fast once you learn the method.And doesn’t strain the hand. Very easy to hold. Blade very sharp.Good size other than maybe for really huge things. I also have a wider one from Japan but I haven’t used it yet.

I’ve been using this brand of peelers for years. My old one finally bit the dust after six or eight years and countless uses. This peeler is just as great, it’s comfortable to hold, peels quickly and easily, and works on all kinds of fruits and veggies. Makes prep work easy.
